54321 Wonderful day! Thanks Greg.
Val Heathcote — 18 November, 2017

54321 We were a group of 5, all of which enjoyed this trip thoroughly. The bus was comfortable, the guide was informative & involved with the guests, great experience, well reccommended
Sister Trip — 17 November, 2017

54321 We were picked up at our accommodation at 5.50am. It is a long day but worth it. Our driver was Rob who was very competent & although some of the tracks are very narrow & bumpy, he navigated them beautifully. We saw Lake Birrabeen which is a fresh water lake surrounded by beautiful pure white sand, Wanggoolba Creek, gorgeous also but lots of mozzies, Central Stayion where we had our fabulous lunch with a wine, Eli Creek, which was probably my favourite, saw the Maheno Shipwreck which was very interesting, had our photo taken with the pilots from the small planes that land on the beach & of course drove along 75 mile beach in the 4 wheel drive bus. What a day!!
Karen — 1 November, 2017

43211 We had a wonderful time on this tour. To be picked up at our accom in Noosa was something I really appreciated for our family, took the hassle out of trying to get to a central spot. Our guide Greg, was fantastic with such an abundant knowledge of the area and beyond, he is a definite asset to this trip. Despite the mechanical troubles on the day we had a great time!
Rachel — 8 October, 2017

54321 What an amazing experience! To be in nature without the worry of getting lost, getting stuck in the sand or anything else... I was just able to enjoy knowing that we were in safe hands. Our tour guide was exceptional!
Benita Olivier — 7 October, 2017

32121 Really enjoyed the overall experience. Unfortunately, mechanical failure meant we arrived on the island and had to wait one and a half hours for replacement vehicle. As well, we ran out of petrol, 10 km from home making it a long day. It is a beautiful island with Lake Birraween a real treat at the end. Staff were friendly and professional and tourists were goodnatured about the turn of events. We still had a good day.

43211 I really loved this tour with our guide: Andrew. In one day, this tour seems be packed the elements of Fraser island as much as possible. I would like to stay two days or more for next time, to enjoy more for each elements more. The road some part is so much bumpy, so if the person who need care the shock of the road, had better to notice to guid and had the front side seat, if possible. Thank you for Andrew and staff for booking. I'm impressed the service of reservation staff also!.
Yoshi — 1 October, 2017

43211 This is an intense day out! A long time spent in the vehicle but that's the price of trying to see so much in one day. Our tour guide Andrew was amazing though - was positive and energetic from 5.40 when he picked us up all the way through to 7.20 when he dropped us off. Lake McKenzie and Eli Creek were by far the highlights and lunch was AMAZING.
Jen — 30 September, 2017

43211 What a day. So much jammed packed in could not ask for anything more. Our host Andrew was great. Looked after everyone. The bbq and snacks were great. The day was superb. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

43211 The guide Peder was very good he looked after everyone all day and the food was very good snacks cakes steak wine, beer etc all included.there was a lot of driving would have preferred more time at lake and beach, but did fit in us much as possible in one day.
Dawn — 29 August, 2017

43211 We chose the one day nature tour and we lived a very good experience The guide was competent in explaining and very brilliant Lunch was very good

32121 Overall a good day. Nice food. The island is absolutely beautiful. Steve our guide was good but tours we have been on in the past have left me inspired and we didn't feel this after this tour. Yes, the Fraser Island tour was bumpy as expected but at least the sand is soft. The roads to and from Fraser Island were actually worse, incredibly bumpy and jarring ride and it's a long day on a bus that feels like it has zero suspension. Despite this if you're up for a bumpy ride it's worth it to see this Island. If you have the choice of a private 4x4 I think it would be worth it. But if not this is a solid option.
Zoe — 10 August, 2017

54321 This tour was an excellent way to see the key attractions of Rainbow beach and Fraser Island in one day. Meals and rest stops were well catered for. I'd recommend sitting toward the front of the bus if you suffer from motion sickness. Also take swiming goggles or a snorkle to get the full benefit of swimming in the clear waters of Lake McKenzie. Our driver, Steve, had a wealth of local knowledge and his commentary, while informative, was also extremely entertaining. Tour (almost 12 hours) was good value for money.
Kerrie — 5 August, 2017

54321 Great experience, so much to see, so much to learn, great guide/driver, great lunch, great vehicle, everything so well organized. Thank you.
Åslaug Tveiterås — 10 July, 2017

43211 Lovely day. We saw a lot of Fraser Island. Interesting guide. Meals were excellent. Nice to be picked up from accommodation. Nice to have time for swim in the lake, walk in the rainforest & walking or swimming in Eli creek. Would have liked more time to explore on foot but this was impossible in the time frame. There was nothing I would have wanted to omit from the tour. Well worth doing
Christine — 28 June, 2017

54321 Great day. Great food and a lot of useful information. The guide was very very friendly and it was definitely worth doing it!
Fidan — 26 June, 2017

54321 I was expecting a boring, monotonous, touristy tour of Fraser. It was not the case. It was not only informative and enjoyable but also stomach satisfying way to see Fraser. Pedr is awesome. Yes Pedr I remembered your name! Thanks for Pedr and Steve, people like me can see and enjoy places like Lake Mckenzie without having to spend too much effort at the most reasonable price. Thanks guys good work! The steak was brilliant!
Rally Canzon — 30 April, 2017

54321 this was my second trip to fraser as i wanted to take my family there (group of 6) with a limited timeframe. the trip covered almost everything that the 3 day trip did and was an extremely good way of exploring the island with a limited timeframe. i was more than happy with the trip and have since recommended it to friends. 10/10 for the trip and 12/10 for the food! above average of what i was expecting. we even had table cloths at the barbecue! and booze! :D
Benjamin Edgley — 25 April, 2017

54321 Excellent well organised and good value tour. Daryl's commentary very interesting and entertaining when it could be heard above the noise of the bus at higher speeds. Perhaps needs some work on the rear differential or the PA system needs improving. Both drivers (two buses) worked hard to keep on time and provide really nice food under the circumstances. Will take our next guests on same trip again, The trip is a MUST for anyone who has not been to Frazer Island.
Colin Wright — 15 April, 2017

54321 Unless the rain we had whole day, it was a perfect day tour! We had a nice group, our tour guide was very informative and friendly. The BBQ was a nice meal with a lot of different salads and some nice drinks. The only disadvantage was that the bus was leaking. Though they couldn't have known that before because usually it's good weather. We had a perfect day and our guide definitely did take care for that!
Margot Lokker — 30 March, 2017

54321 If you come to the sunshine coast this is a must do. So much fun going through the terrain and seeing the sites. Also our driver rob was very knowledgeable and friendly.
deanne — 26 March, 2017

54321 We had an amazing day. Picked up by Pedr at our accomodation bang on time ar 05.50. Great tour guide, loved the information and stories he told us, exellent driver, cook and a gentleman in every way. Looking forward to our next trip. Wouldn't hesitate to book again

Sandra Watkins — 21 March, 2017

54321 The tour was great overall. Everything was on time and worked efficiently. Minor gripes - the visit to the lake (in our case to Lake Birrabeen) had been so hyped that it was slightly disappointing. Maybe Mackenzie would have been better despite the crowds. It wasn't as stunning as I'd been led to believe from various sites. The other sites we visited were lovely though the colored rocks were not nearly as spectacular as the photo would lead you to believe. The rainforest is lovely, and we saw kookaburras there and dingoes on the beach. For me - the drive along the beach is the most spectacular part - but, here is my suggestion, the tour company should at least start the day with clean windows on the vehicle - it's a shame to have to look out at the amazing views through dirty windows (even if it can't be helped if they get progressively dirty later on). But, as I said, overall it was great. Thank you
Russell — 13 March, 2017

54321 I loved my tour with Daryl. It was such a fun day and such a beautiful island! We got to see so much in the one day, we also saw a dingo, wild kangaroos, dolphins, and a beautiful rainbow. Definitely recommend!
Audra Kelley — 5 March, 2017

43211 The tour guide, Rob was very good. His driving experience was amazing !! The tour was great , just too much time in the bus , not enough exploring or on the beach, not enough stops. The food for lunch was really good. So thank you for a lovely day.
Julie Simmons — 2 March, 2017

54321 Fantastic place and great tour. Many thanks to our driver/guide/cook, simply a great person.
Alain Laflèche — 15 February, 2017

54321 Had a fab day on Fraser Island! Saw Dolphins on the ferry, lack birrabean was amazing and worth doing the tour with Eli creek...I just wish I had longer to bring a inflatable and float down! The driver was brilliant so friendly answered any questions he must have been shattered especially after changing a flat tyre in the sand, but still he was brilliant the whole time. Lunch was really good I just wish there was more time to spend there. The drive home along the 60km of beach back to Noosa was also amazing, I can't think of anywhere near home that I can do that! It was so weird driving on the beach! The only downside was how bumpy the rest of the trip was in the dry sand! I'm not sure I expected this after booking but I soon got used to it and it was quite funny! Thanks for a fab tour! Ps there is also horse riding at Rainbow beach that I noticed looked really fun and I really wish I'd known this before coming to Noosa! Next time!! :)
Jo — 15 February, 2017

43211 First of all: There was no picking up from a private accomodation (we booked one at AirBnb) so we had to go by ourselfs to a Bus Station they provided us. Walking distance: 20 minutes. As we are not from Noosa, we didn't know where exactly it is so we had to take a taxi (so around 12 Dollars more) to get there in time. That was ridicoulous because Noosa isn't that big and it wouldn't have been an other direction for picking us up. The others paid the same as we did and just because they stayed in a hotel, they got the pick up. Anyway. The tour was great, our tourguide Peter made it amazing. It was obvious, that he has a lot of experience as he told us a lot of intresting facts about the history! His driving was perfect, so that we felt secure. The stops were just stunning and the BBQ that Peter prepared for us was just yummiii because he really made it with lots of Love. He even took the beachpart (Rainbow) for the drive back home. Thanks for that!
Lucia — 13 February, 2017

54321 Great day out for the family. Rob our guide/driver for the day was full of information, happy to take questions from an inquisitive 4 year old (what do Dingo's eat and are there any pirates on Fraser Island). We couldn't of asked for a more Australian Day with a more Aussie Bloke. Bit bouncy in the 4 wheel, but expected that, my advise avoid sitting above the wheels and the front seat is the best.
Cathryn — 2 February, 2017

54321 Everything startet good when we got picked up. Our guide was excellent and had a lot of funny stories and interesting information of Fraser Island. The lunch was over every expectation and everything in total was an amazing experience. Definitely gonna recommend this to others!
Ida — 25 January, 2017

21321 First off Fraser Island wasn´t for us and we found the trip long and boring. Some nice scenarios and sights but after hours of either beach driving or inland terrain driving, it gets tedious. Our guide (Rob I think) was the most unwelcoming and grumpy guide I ever came across. half the group didn´t get what he was saying and he was not open for reexplanations. If your that tired of your job you should find some other career that doesn't´t include people skills.
Erik Neergaard — 11 January, 2017

54321 Brilliant experience! Steve and Rob did a great job in getting round a packed program without making it feel rushed. Would recommend this trip as a must and value for money.
Darryl — 8 January, 2017

54321 This was my second tour of Fraser Island, the first being four years previously with a different tour company. Both myself and my husband really enjoyed the tour. It is a fair distance from noosa and the time travelling across the island does limit the the time you can spend at different sites but that's just the way it is for a one day tour. Our guide was great, local, extremely knowledgeable with a good mix of facts and stories. The catering was also good. Would definitely recommend, thanks for a great day.
Laura Smith — 4 January, 2017

54321 All in all a fantastically well organised and extremely interesting and enjoyable excursion allowing us to do and see a lot in one day. Yes achieving that required a very early start and yes there was a lot of very expert driving but the vehicle was comfortable, the lunch satisfying, the swim a highlight, the driver/host/cook/commentator highly efficient, personable, well informed, and very good at his job. Many thanks for a memorable (in the good sense!) day.
Jim — 13 November, 2016

54321 We had the best day! Andy was visiting Australia for the first time and we all absolutely loved it. Daryl was fantastic, we loved his stories and jokes and he was very knowledgable. He also made sure we had the most amount of time at the best locations and put on a fantastic spread for lunch. Would highly recommend this to all! Thank you!
Theresa, Carrie & Andy — 7 November, 2016

14321 Very bad experience. First of all the company should consider that not only native speakers are on board, thus the guide should speak clearly in to microfon moreover when using local slangs. Secondly I did not understand such a speed from Noosa if in the end we were able to spend only litle time in atractions, especially LakeMcKenzy one hour and something to be able to quickly eat the lunch. I did not even finnished my drink as we had to already pack, my husband had to finnish his meal in standing, but the "best" was when we had to in hurry quickly grab some drink and cake as the afternoon snack on the ferry on the way back (the way takes about 10min and there are also other cars on boat and smelly from oil) . Everything was in hurry, the driver was driving very fast all the time and anyway we spent just small time on each atraction stops. Maybe good to consider whether it is worth to do such a trip from Noosa, due to long distance which influences all day on Frasier Iland.
Eva — 25 September, 2016

54321 This was a fantastic one day adventure. The sights, the food and the history lesson from our tour guide Greg will never be forgotten. I fully recommend this tour to all...... Cheers Pete
Peter — 10 July, 2015

54321 Thank you for an excellent tour. This was an ideal way to see the highlights of Fraser Island with limited time available. The tour guide (Andrew) was brilliant - very professional, extremely knowledgeable and very handy at everything including his cooking skills. There was lots of humour and we had a really great day. Many thanks and I will certainly be recommending it to others.
Tammy — 11 February, 2015

54321 First time to Fraser & would recommend to any first timers this is the way to do it, with Tim & his team. A great experience & value for money, thank you Tim.
Bob Evans — 6 January, 2015

21321 We were picked up early and for this price were expecting a bit more for our special day. We thought it was very budget style with tea in plastic cups, pick ups half way through the tour and stale cookies and limited quantities for lunch (they ran out of salads etc) for the day..worse than a children's school camp. We were expecting at least water bottles to be provided like many great tours we have done. The trip is as good as the company you travel with - you swim, explore and see the sights yourself. We didn't have any group bonding led by our guide and got dropped off on the side of the road to walk back to our hotel down the road when it was over. We didn't see any animals/wildlife, walked the rain forests by ourselves and explored other stops ourselves. The guide only drives, regurgitates the same spiel and pours hot water so you can make your own tea. Wouldn't recommend it other than to just get to some destinations without the hassle of organising it yourself.
PB — 5 January, 2015

54321 I would like to thank the whole AdventureFree Tours Team for the great customer service! I highly appreciated the easy booking procedure, the fast email response rate as well as the friendliness and dedication of all staff members. Both tours (1 Day Fraser Island & 4 Days Whitsunday Sailing) I attended were absolutely wonderful and definitely recommendable to anyone visiting Australia.
Silke — 27 October, 2014

54321 Highlight of the whole holiday for young & old in our family! The trip, the views, the sea & lakes, the food, the driver, we couldn't fault any of it. Just the right duration & never a dull moment, thanks guys!
Mark Cooper — 15 October, 2014

54321 The trip was amazing. Tour guide was very informative and fun. Although there was a bad weather, the tour was being carried on with a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended for those who are looking for a such a short and unique trip
Anastasia Wibowo — 10 June, 2014

43211 Despite promising only 16 ppl max, there r at least 20 ppl in the tour. Did not get to see Teewah Coloured Sand. But the driver cum tour guide cum cook is good. I think the management is to blame for the lack of assistance given to the driver n the broken promise coz he tried his best to fit everything in the 1 day tour. It's basically a 1-man show.
Lee — 18 May, 2014

54321 We had this tour on our anniversary. It made our day more memorable. The day was full of fun. We felt like we had 2-3 days of holiday. Tour was nicely organised & executed perfectly by their nice Driver cum guide Mr. Tim. We fully recommend this tour :)
